AV-30 Multifunction AI/DG is a modern, high-performance digital flight display that installs in a standard 3” round instrument cutout—delivering a clean retrofit upgrade without major panel rework. Available for certified aircraft (AV-30-C) and experimental aircraft (AV-30-E), it can replace a traditional attitude indicator or directional gyro and be configured to show the flight data that matters most to you. Direct-fit digital upgrade: Replaces analog AI/DG instruments while preserving the classic 3” round-gauge look. Flexible display modes: Multiple modes and functions allow you to tailor the AV-30 to your aircraft and mission. Centralized control: Quickly switch layouts and views to reduce workload and keep key information front-and-center. Enhanced pilot awareness: Visual and aural AoA alerting helps warn of approaching unsafe angles of attack using pitch, flight path, and G-loading. Sunlight-readable clarity: Matte, edge-to-edge, high-resolution display with automatic brightness adjustment for crisp visibility in changing light. Legacy-friendly integration: Designed to work with your existing pitot-static system and GPS inputs while maintaining a clean panel aesthetic. Expanded compatibility: Pair with select ADS-B solutions and optional modules for added IFR capability and integration with certain legacy autopilots. ForeFlight Integration for Certified AircraftWith this new capability, certified aircraft pilots can now use ForeFlight as a navigation source for the AV-30, enabling a clean and intuitive interface for flight planning and navigation (using your iPad’s internal GPS or an ADS-B receiver such as Sentry or skySensor as the position source). Build and update routes in ForeFlight and have waypoints and flight plans synchronize to the AV-30 for display and navigation, including the ability to modify the active flight plan in-flight—adding waypoints or making route changes to avoid weather or comply with ATC—by typing or dragging your route line on the EFB, with updates reflected on the AV-30. ForeFlight as nav source: Use ForeFlight for planning and navigation with position from iPad GPS or a compatible ADS-B receiver. Send routes & waypoints to the AV-30: Update flight plans from ForeFlight to the AV-30 for synchronized navigation. In-flight re-route support: Make mid-flight edits in ForeFlight (add waypoints, drag route changes) and see them update on the AV-30. Enhanced traffic display: Improvements to heading bug and symbology provide a clearer in-flight picture. ForeFlight integration requires an AV-Link Wi-Fi bridge to synchronize and update flight plans.
